CBI filed a supplementary chargesheet in the Jagan assets case

CBI filed a supplementary chargesheet in the Jagan assets case highlighting how the value of Jagati Publications was artificially lifted from Rs 146 crore in 2006 to a whopping Rs 3,450 crore in 2007. The CBI cited the accounts of two witnesses to substantiate its claim in this regard. The supplementary chargesheet was filed for the first chargesheet that dealt with the benefits doled out to pharma companies like Hetero Drugs, Aurobindo Pharma and Trident Life Sciences and the investments made by these companies in Jagan firms as part of a quid pro quo arrangement.
