It is Pawan Kalyan who proposed to remake 'Love Aaj Kal' in Telugu. It is Pawan Kalyan who suggested the name of Jayant for direction. It is he who decided to give the dialogue writing job for Trivikram. It is he who made him get Rs 2.5 Cr as remuneration.

Finally it is Pawan Kalyan who finalized the heroines, locations and every small aspect of the film.

Since everything was done as per the decision of Pawan Kalyan, now Botsa (the real producer of the film) felt that only Pawan should bear the pain of loss as well.

Hence with the fear on Botsa, Pawan Kalyan ceased his idea of making 'Gabbar Singh' in his own production. Hence he has given that again to Ganesh Babu, the salaried producer of Botsa who made Teenmaar.

And above all, Pawan is not at all involving in any aspect of the movie making it seems.

Manchu Manoj is all set to get married

Mohanbabu's younger son Manchu Manoj is all set to get married. The girl is from a political family. Her dad is a now TDP leader who recently contested from Praja Rajyam Party ticket in Rangareddy district. 

Mohanbabu family is keeping the name of the girl a secret for now. Reliable sources say she is pursuing her final year engineering in Hyderabad and once she finishes her studies, Manoj will marry her. The bride's family originally hails from Guntur district.

"Yes my younger brother Manoj's wedding has been fixed. The marriage will be only an year later. She is a very nice girl and suits our family well. Manoj is busy with 'Ookodathara Ulikkipadathara' which will be produced by me and he will get married to her only after an year from now " Lakshmi Manchu told media.

On the Sets of Mahesh Babu new movie – Dhookudu

Mahesh Babu’s next project under Sreenu Vaitla’s direction has been titled as DHOOKUDU. Samantha of Ye Maaya Chesave will be playing opposite to Mahesh Babu.music by Thaman S, story by Gopi Mohan and dialogues by Kona Venkat. Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara jointly produce the film under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.Filming for the movie will begin next month.

Special Song For NTR- Lakshmi Pranathi’s Marriage

NTR.Jr and Lakshmi Pranathi’s marriage seems to be the most awaited wedding of the season. The arrangements for the big day (5th May) at HiTEX are going on and Nandamuri and Narne families are being busy with the preparations. The wedding ceremony is planned to be traditional yet lavish.

The stage (Kalyana Mandapam) is being erected with a whopping 18 Crores, which is 160 feet in height, under the supervision of Art director Anand and around 300 workers are working day and night to complete the set.

The latest news is that a song has been composed by Arjun especially for the couple on their wedding. Chaitanya Krishna and Geetha Madhuri have sung the track while Vasanth penned the lyrics. Well, Nandamuri and Narne families are leaving no stone unturned for making the wedding as memorable event.

Sri Rama Rajyam Undershoot

Bala Krishna is currently busy with the shoot of the mythological film Sri Rama Rajyam that is currently taking place at Alwal in Hyderabad outskirts. The schedule will continue till May and few vital scenes are being shot in a specially erected set.

Sri Rama Rajyam was earlier supposed to release on 10th June, but may get postponed due to the strike undergone in Tollywood, which has wasted many call sheets of the cast of the film.

Nayantara is playing the role of Goddess Sita in the film, pairing up with Bala Krishna. This multi-starrer film has ANR, Srikanth, Sai Kumar in the important roles. Yalamanchali Sai Babu is producing the film under Sri Sai Baba Movies banner and Ilayaraja is scoring the music.

Ileana losing ground!

So far, Ileana is getting not less than Rs 1.5 Crores per film. But going by her rate of flops, she may no longer demand such exorbitant prices. She has already losing ground in Telugu film industry. All her recent films are big flops. She delivered four duds - Rechchipo, Saleem, Shakti and Nenu Naa Rakshasi - in a row in less than 18 months and there by winning the tag of ‘iron-leg-heroine’.

Added to that she has just only one straight Telugu film in her kitty - director Trivikram’s film opposite Allu Arjun.  She’s currently doing two Tamil films - Shankar’s Nanban and Rajnikant’s Rana and a Hindi film, Barfee.  In Tollywood which made her what she’s today, Ileana is slowly losing popularity.

Stiff competition

On the other hand, heroines like Kajal, Samantha and Tapsee are getting more fame and tasting the successes. Tamannah and Sruthi Haasan are also becoming hot favorites.

Nag's 'Damarukham' shoot in Europe

The unit of Nagarjuna - Anushka starrer Damarukham, produced by Venkat of RR Movie Makers and directed by comedy expert Srinivasa Reddy, is now camping in Europe for canning of a song sequence on the lead pair.

 

Movie presenter K. Achhi Reddy said: "The film is coming up with a different theme. We struggled a lot for the script, which took almost six months for fine-tuning and finalization. Nagarjuna laid special emphasis on the film. His mannerisms are going to be a major highlight, coupled with the glamour of Anushka. We are doubly cautious about the film as it is coming after the hit of Nag`s Gaganam, and naturally there will be a lot of expectation among the audiences."

 

The cast included Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood, Pradeep Rawat, Brahmanandam, Ali, Krishna Bhagwan, MS Narayana, Ahuti Prasad, Jeeva, Venu Madhav and others. Cinematography is by Chota K. Naidu. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music.

'Badrinath' music to release on May 7

Allu Arjun and V V Vinayak’s Badrinath will have its music launch on May 7th. Vinayak is finishing up few scenes currently in Hyderabad and will wrap up remaining two songs next month. As the film’s shoot came near to end, producer Allu Aravind has announced the music launch date - May 7th.  M M Keeravani has composed music for the movie - a first time for V V Vinayak’s movie.

The movie is expected to hit the screens either on May 27 or June 3rd.

Jeevitha-Rajasekhar likely to join TDP

Actor-turned-politician Rajasekhar and his wife actress Jeevitha, who quit Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy's YSR Congress Party on Friday, stating that they do not want to be associated with a corrupt person, are likely to join Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
Sources in TDP stated on Sunday that the couple had spoken to party President N. Chandrababu Naidu, presently campaigning in the Kadapa byelections over phone in the morning and expressed their willingness to join his party. Naidu was learnt to have appreciated their decision.
The couple would join TDP officially on Tuesday in the presence of Naidu, when he returns to the capital. However, the party is yet to decide over whether their ‘services' would be utilized in the Kadapa byelections to target both Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and K. Chiranjeevi, a report said.
